About Author

Writing books makes the world go round

Wright Aloba has a master’s degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia and a bachelor of accounting degree from Norfolk State University, Norfolk, Virginia. He was a former assistant professor of accounting and taxation for over 14 years. He is currently in private practice as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), specializing in taxation, accounting, financial and management consulting services. His passion, aside from his profession is education, in any form: Reading, learning and acquiring continuing knowledge everywhere available. His weakness is very simple: He has no patience for complainers. He admires and attracted to people with positive – solution-based mindsets.  He advocates everyone to self-evaluate themselves periodically so that may discover where changes should be made for a better day, considering the ever-changing world.

Solutions may not heal all problems, but the frame of mind to find answers is one way to develop and change your dynamics and attain the future you envisioned.
Don’t give up or allow your mistakes to deprive you of the best times to come.

What is the appropriate age to learn all about financial literacy?

Why do I continue to pay taxes after retirement?

Paying taxes after retirement is a sign that you did well in life. It shows that you worked hard, you saved, you invested well. Because as long as your total income after retirement is greater than government’s nontaxable threshold, you will continue to pay taxes, regardless of age.

What is the right age to retire?

The right age to retire depends on your financial preparedness before you
retire. You can retire at any age as long as you have the financial resources and possess the state
of mind to continue the life style you desire after retirement. If you have the means at 30 years
old, then, 30 years is the right age to retire.

Do I need financial advisors before marriage?

Yes. Financial advisors should be able to go over your finances and
determine if you’re ready for marriage, the financial obligations you will
face during marriage. Remember that over 50% of marriages are in
trouble because of financial stress and disagreements.

I’m retired. It’s too late to do anything suggested in the book.
